receipt printers having 40 columns, full page printers, validation checking
printers, so that you can assign each print to a different printer. Another
additional feature is sending of receipts via email to customers, saving you
the headache of printing receipts and saving paper too proving to be cost
efficient. Whilst the process is going on, you can also ask for a customer’s
email address if you don’t have it. Existing point of sale forms can be
customized or can be created from scratch by utilizing the built-in
counterpoint receipt editor or crystal report designer which can also be purchased
separately. Special purpose documents such as assembly instructions and
material safety data sheets can also be created – All thanks to NCR.
Sometimes NCR Counterpoint will crash when minimized or hidden, and you would immediately lose the ticket that you are working on, making it unable to be recovered at all. NCR Counterpoint also closes the Ticket Query/Entry window automatically after making and order or quote, it would be better if it stayed open so you can quickly jump to the next ticket without having to retype your password all the time.
